My story begins with António Marau, my grandfather. Born in Brazil, he started working in his uncle and aunt’s hat shop when he was still young. It was there that he learned the art of hat making and, as the business grew, he struggled to support his family.

My grandfather was a talented hat maker, always finding creative ways to satisfy customers. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to learn directly from him, I grew up surrounded by the tools and materials left in the old workshop.

Today, I want to bring back the care and expertise that my grandfather shared, creating unique hats
with a touch of passion.
